Jessica Barrett is an artist and singer based in Kansas City. Creating from a place of sincerity and devotion, Jessica's desire has always been that in all ways her creative expressions would point others to the beauty and goodness of Jesus. From the time she was a child, Jessica carried a deep hunger for God that has ultimately shaped her life's trajectory.

 

She knew from an early age that she was meant to live a life set apart serving Jesus–His very presence being her motivation and reward.

​The intensity of Jessica's hunger for God grew exponentially when she attended a Benny Hinn crusade event in late 2010, where she encountered the tangible power of God and was exposed to His glorious presence in a way so undeniable, she knew she was ruined for anything less.  

​

For the next 3 1/2 years, Jessica eagerly accompanied her father to numerous crusades across the United States; as well as Canada and Israel–where she was baptized by Pastor Benny Hinn in the Jordan River in 2013. These events became pivotal moments where Jessica encountered the Lord in profound ways and received impartations from Holy Spirit through Pastor Benny's ministry.

During this time, while also pursuing her degree in graphic design in Upstate New York, Jessica's love for the Word of God only deepened and a heart for the nations was discovered as she embarked on journeys to other countries. She first visited Greece and Turkey, retracing the footsteps of the Apostle Paul, and gaining a richer understanding of his writings. Soon-after in 2011, she traveled to Bungoma, Kenya on a missions trip where she had her first public ministry experience as she ministered to the youth, fueling her desire to serve and impact lives for Christ and disciple the next generations. In 2013 Jessica and her father finally travelled Israel, where the Scriptures came alive in a new way that was beautiful and profound.

Recognizing her artistic abilities at a young age, Jessica acknowledged early on that her talents came from the Lord and, with unwavering conviction, has dedicated her skill sets to glorify God alone. Throughout her education she consistently excelled in art, winning awards and honing her craft. It was in 2013 Jessica graduated with her degree and fully embraced her artistic calling and ministry in prophetic art. Little did she know this would be only one facet of her creative expressions of worship.

Upon graduating, after a year of helping a friend start their own music studio in the interim, Jessica responded to the Lord's guidance and relocated to Kansas City in 2014 to pursue ministry training with the International House of Prayer – a 24/7 prayer and worship ministry and thriving international mission's base, reaching over 215 nations. 

​

​In 2019, Jessica became an ordained minister through World Healing Center Church and Benny Hinn Ministries and faithfully continues to serve the Lord on staff as an intercessory missionary with IHOPKC, using her voice as a full-time singer and minister, passionately discipling and teaching the Body of Christ through the singing of God's Word.

​

Along with her dedicated study, singing, and teaching of Scriptures, she leads daily prayer meetings with worship, intercession, and devotionals– nurturing a vibrant atmosphere in the house of the Lord. She also continues to expand creatively as the Lord leads, launching her own storefront in 2024, featuring original designs in apparel, as well as developing her songwriting.

Jessica remains connected to Benny Hinn Ministries, partnering with them and traveling to various events as the Lord leads, even after more than a decade of fruitful collaboration.

Jessica's life is a testament to her unyielding hunger for God, her commitment to ministry, and her dedication to using her artistic talents to glorify Him. Her journey of faith continues to inspire and impact lives as she faithfully follows the path God has set before her.
